ORDER

This matter comes on to be heard upon the Motion to Extend Time to Object to Discharge filed by David M. Warren (“Trustee”), trustee for the above-referenced bankruptcy estate,. After notice and an opportunity for a hearing has been given to the proper parties and after consideration of the evidence presented, the court makes the following findings of fact and conclusions of law:
1. This matter is a core proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157, and the court has jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 151, 157, and 1334. The court has the authority to hear this matter pursuant to the General Order of Reference entered August 3, 1984, by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
2. The Debtors filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition on April 3, 2002, and the Trustee was appointed to fulfill the duties as stated in 11 U.S.C. § 704.
3. Rules 4004(b) of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure provides that the court may, for cause, extend the time fixed for filing complaints objecting to a debtor’s discharge upon the motion of a party in interest, provided that such motion is made before the time for filing such complaints has expired.
4. The time for filing objections to the discharge of the Debtors pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 727(a) will expire on or about July 5, 2002, and such time has not expired at time of the filing of the motion; now therefore,
IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the time within which the Trustee may file a complaint objecting to the discharge of the Debtors is hereby extended for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of this Order.
