Regarding Assignment of New Adversary Proceedings and Reassignment of Pending Adversary Proceedings by County

On August 3, 2005 the Eighth Circuit Judicial Council issued an Order approving “the assignment of the Honorable Paul J. Kilburg and the Honorable William L. Edmonds, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Iowa, to assist the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Iowa, during the period beginning on or about August 8, 2005, and for such further time as may be required to complete unfinished business.”
Whereas the Southern District of Iowa requested assistance with adversary proceedings related to Chapter 7 cases and whereas the Northern District Judges requested assignment by county and selected the counties for which they will accept assignments, itis hereby ORDERED that:
(1) Effective August 22, 2005 the Clerk of Court for the Southern District of Iowa shall begin assigning new adversary proceedings and, with limited exceptions, shall reassign pending adversary proceedings according to the following county designations —
Judge Edmonds (-wle): All Western Division counties (Harrison, Shelby, Audubon, Pottawattamie, Cass, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont and Page) and certain Central Division counties (Greene, Boone, Guthrie, Dallas, Adair, Madison, Adams, Union, Clarke, Taylor, Ringgold, Decatur).
Judge Jackwig (-lmj): Certain Central Division counties (Story, Marshall, Polk, Jasper, Warren, Marion, Lucas and Wayne).
Judge Kilburg (-pjk): All Davenport Division counties (Clinton, Johnson, Muscatine, Scott, Washington, Louisa, Henry, Des Moines, Van Buren and Lee) and certain Central Division counties (Poweshiek, Mahaska, Keokuk, Monroe, Wapello, Jefferson, Appanoose and Davis).
(2) The Clerk of Court shall post and maintain current and relevant information regarding the above assignments and reassignments on the Court’s Web site found atwww.iasb.uscourts.gov.
