IN RE ABRAMSON (Bankr.N.D.Ind. 2006)

IN RE: MICHAEL ALLAN ABRAMSON CATHERINE ALICE ABRAMSON, Chapter 13, Debtors.

Case No. 06-60391 JPK.United States Bankruptcy Court, N.D. Indiana, Hammond Division.
August 22, 2006

ORDER REGARDING MOTION TO STAY PENDING DETERMINATION OF THE MOTION TO REINSTATE CASE [“MOTION”]
PHILIP KLINGEBERGER, Bankruptcy Judge

The above-designated Motion was filed by the debtors on August 14, 2006, apparently in order to seek some form of injunctive relief pending the Court’s conducting of a hearing on the debtors’ Motion to Reinstate Case, also filed on August 14, 2006.

The Motion does not comply with the requirements of N.D.Ind.L.B.R. B-7065-1, which the Court deems to be applicable to the relief apparently requested by this Motion.[1]

IT IS ORDERED that the above-designated Motion is denied, without prejudice to the filing of a motion which seeks the same or similar relief in compliance with applicable law and rules.

[1] The Court notes parenthetically that the Motion to Reinstate Case itself does not comply with the requirements of N.D.Ind.L.B.R. B-9023-1. Despite the non-compliance, the Court will schedule a hearing on the Motion by separate order, subject to the condition which will be stated in that order.
