IN RE ADM. ORDER AMENDING LOCAL RULE (Bankr.E.D.Mich. 2005)

In re: ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER AMENDING LOCAL RULE 9014-1-(f).

No. 05-23.United States Bankruptcy Court, E.D. Michigan.
December 13, 2005

STEVEN RHODES, Chief Bankruptcy Judge

Local Bankruptcy Rule 4001-6(a) and (b) specifies that the movant shall obtain a hearing date from the judge’s courtroom deputy clerk after filing a Motion to Extend the Stay or a Motion to Order the Stay to Take Effect. Written objections to these motions are permitted but not required. Since hearings on these motions are scheduled even in the absence of an objection, motions under this local rule should be an exception to the local rule governing motion procedure generally.

Accordingly, Local Bankruptcy Rule 9014-1(f) is amended to include Rule 4001-6(a) and (b) as an exception to Rule 9014-1 for cases filed on or after October 17, 2005.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
