In re: Administrative Order Regarding LBR 1007-1(c).

No. 08-10.United States Bankruptcy Court, E.D. Michigan.
June 10, 2008

STEVEN RHODES, Chief Bankruptcy Judge

LBR 1007-1(c) requires the debtor in a chapter 13 case to submit a payment order for entry within 15 days after filing or conversion to chapter 13. This local rule permits the debtor to file either a Third Party Payment Order or an Electronic Transfer of Funds Payment Order. However, the local rule states that the debtor can submit an Electronic Transfer of Funds Payment Order only if a Third Party Payment Order cannot be effectuated.

To compel compliance with this local rule, the debtor shall, before submitting an Electronic Transfer of Funds Payment Order, file an affidavit stating in detail why a Third Party Payment Order cannot be effectuated.

It is so ordered. This order is effective upon entry.
