ORDER PERTAINING TO THE ASSIGNMENT OF CASES AND PROCEEDINGS
STEVEN RHODES, Chief Bankruptcy Judge

The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit has appointed Bankruptcy Judge Daniel S. Opperman in this district. This administrative order sets forth the reassignment of the Court’s cases and the procedure for assigning new cases. It is entered pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 154(a) and Local Bankruptcy Rule 1071-1(f).

Accordingly, it is ordered that:

1. Reassignments of Pending Cases and Adversary Proceedings inFlint and Bay City

On Monday, July 17, 2006, the clerk shall reassign to Judge Opperman all pending cases and adversary proceedings in Flint and Bay City, except that those matters taken under advisement listed on the attached list shall remain with Judge Shapero until the matter under advisement is resolved.

2. Assignments of New Cases in Flint and Bay City

On Friday, July 14, 2006, the clerk shall begin assigning to Judge Opperman all new cases filed in Flint and Bay City.
3. Assignment of cases in which Judge Opperman has been recused
Any case or matter in which Judge Opperman is recused shall be transferred to Detroit and randomly assigned through the blind draw to another judge pursuant to L.B.R. 1071-1(e)(4).
