Case No. 10-50324.United States Bankruptcy Court, E.D. Michigan, Southern Division.
April 5, 2010
ORDER DENYING DEBTOR’S “EX PARTE MOTION TO CLOSE DUPLICATE CASE”
THOMAS TUCKER, Bankruptcy Judge
On March 30, 2010, Debtor filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 7, initiating this case. Later on March 30, 2010, Debtor filed another voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 7, initiating Case No. 10-50341.
In this case, but not in the second-filed case, Debtor filed a motion apparently seeking dismissal of this case, entitled “Ex Parte Motion to Close Duplicate Case.” (Docket # 2 in Case No. 10-50324, the “Motion”). However, it is the second-filed case, not this first-filed case, that must be dismissed. (And the Court is today entering an order dismissing the second-filed case.)
Accordingly,
IT IS ORDERED that the Motion (Docket # 2), is DENIED.
