Case No. 11-40365.United States Bankruptcy Court, E.D. Michigan, Southern Division.
January 10, 2011
 ORDER DISMISSING CASE
 THOMAS TUCKER, Bankruptcy Judge
On January 7, 2011, Norman Poydras filed, on behalf of his previously-deceased wife, a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 7, initiating this case. (See Docket # 1 (Schedule I at line 17 (“THIS PETITION IS BEING FILE [SIC] FOR THE DECEASED BY HER HUSBAND AS EXECUTOR OF HER ESTATE!”); see also Docket # 9.) Because Mr. Poydras has no authority to file a voluntary petition on behalf of a deceased person,
IT IS ORDERED that:
1. This bankruptcy case is DISMISSED.
2. The Court retains jurisdiction to hear and decide all matters relating to the Court’s order entitled “Order Requiring Norman Poydras to Appear and Show Cause Why He Should Not Be Sanctioned for Filing this Bankruptcy Case and Other Papers” which is being entered on the same date as this Order.
